13th November 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 20-28 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 12ºC Sea Temperature: 13ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: A lovely session, first of all well powered with my 5m and little wave board, then the wind eased and we struggled for half an hour so I got my Naish Hybrid board out and went out on that. First run or two was still a little marginal, but the wind soon filled back in so that I was maxed out with the bigger board. Stuck with the bigger board though and had a really good session blasting out through the waves, then some fast runs across the chop, good gybes on the swell and some nice backside wave-rides on the way back in. Impi and Simon seemed to be enjoying themselves too. Hard work though, so in the end I had to call it day as I could no longer hold on! |
